Folding Stool

Expressive yet restrained, this small folding stool was conceptualized as a pure function of structure and mechanics. The detailing is a result of a minimalist attitude towards ornament - as all hardware is deliberately concealed with the structure of the frame itself. The solid walnut stool is finished with a rub on mixture of linseed oil and beeswax.
