Hors d'oeuvre Plates

Walnut; 8" x 8" & 16" x 8" 

These plates were conceived of as a set of cutting boards that double as individual serving plates. The result is a form that is carved out along a diagonal slope, creating a low point for juices to pool. Designed using 3D modeling software, they represent the relationship between digital design to analog production. These were produced using a custom made jig and router. Finished with beeswax and coconut oil.
